I've only bought two nigerian albums this year...
the 1st was Sasha's first lady: she's the queen of nigerian rap...
and she's got an album...and i like female mcs
and the 2nd's Naeto C's You Know My P: i had listened to Sitting on top
and rocked to Kini Big Deal...and i'm like ...what wld the album be like...lol

and by the way, its not a coincidence that they're both storm artists...
they seem to be doing something right.

I would like to proclaim Naeto my own Nigerian version of Jay Z...
The Swagger, Repertoire and Confidence in Lyrics

Here's what i think abt each track:

Lagos City Hustler: its infused with Afrobeats, a joint you could always bump your head to....Naeto's a proud Ibo boi and attributes his success to been business savvy...
fav line:i rep the 2% but i identify with the 98
6/10

I've Been:Its Low tempoed well for me...Just telling us Naeto's been thru it all
fav line:Hard times turn a man to a mover...
5/10

You Know my P: This song oozes confidence...and the beats okay Could he have done it without Ikechukwu? By the way, what's the P?
Fav Line:They got something to prove, i got nothing to prove.
7/10

This is what i do:Didnt just dig this one... The 1st verse was "building", "building", "building"
fav line:I'm like f..k you,i'm go hit the next spot, take all of my girls and go party at the next spot.
5/10

Kini Big Deal:The beat is infectious...and the song just grows on you... I totally love the chorus...and when you think abt everything in life... you've like Whats the big deal i can listen to the song back to back...
Fav line:my fav view you in lacy draws...i know u're not like the other girls i met ...u made me use condom but other girls i left...
8/10

Sitting on top: When i 1st heard this song, i didnt understand it... honest, it was...different...unlike all the trash we hear everyday... the song made u think...as in u actually wanted to here all the lyrics...
fav line:I used to work on jobs...but no matter how u add em up u never fatten up.
6/10

One 4 Me feat Wande Coal: Naeto C...RnB?...he needed help and he got it from wande coal...
Fav line...and if he ever does u wrong dont hesistate to call,i'll be there for u, u'll be there for me... (i use that line alot...lol )
6/10

Ringtone:i like the techno beat and whats the thing with this voice and piano thing....ehn ehn this is RnB Naeto C style...lol (BTW, Ur Ringtone is the sound u make when u guys are in the mood)
Fav line:every single show i do, i split my money in 2, so i can put some in the bank and purchase something for u...
7/10

Made in Lagos: Just wondering why Naeto would put this on his album, thought it was another storm all stars song...sha nice song its just a tush version of eko ile by jazzman...
Fav line:you know i set the standard so they watch me like silverbird cinema cause i'm number one in nigeria
6/10

Bami lo feat Morell:too slow for me o, the regular "i apologise i messed up" song the song has a sober tone to it,,,a persona behind Naeto...lol ,someone who could have any girl, almost turning mushy for this one..lol...come on

6/10

Gidi: i like the small kid intro...i like the beat too...i had a lot of fav lines o ,had trouble picking one....omo the chorus is tight...listen to this one and u'll feel like a million naira...has a way of making u feel more confident.
Fav line:i raise the bar up and watch you fall below
8/10

Ashewo feat Wande Coal: if its got don Jazzy...its a hit...what can i say... bloody good beat...nice lyrics...u just keep bumping ur head..i totally relate to this one... if she dresses better than u, shows more charisma, confidence touching the sky... and shes in a music video doesnt mean shes an ashi...right back at u, THE GAME
fav line:...she used be yours but now she say she be mine...
8/10

Facebook:slow for me again...the sound of the piano was drowning his voice... the chorus and hook took a large part of the song...
fav line:girlfriend u like my swagger and i know this, but it aint choosing someone like me like a boyfriend
5/10

Dont Judge/Outro:isnt really a song...prolly just freestyle.nice end to the album.
Fav line:dont judge what u cant love,u shd leave it alone or let pass it to someone who appreciate it.
6/10

The Devil Is A liar:A nice start to the Naeto C story/Album...Dont know why...maybe cause we're a bit spiritual here...i kept saying amen sha...lol
fav line:when people dont what u doing, that is the window to exceed expectation.
7/10

Total Score= 6.4/10

I keep listening to the album, for me...you want ur confidence to be elevated, listen
prolly at the end, u'll watch with a swagger.
one word to describe the album, CONFIDENCE...
and Naeto's got a lot

best bond girls

With Gemma Arterton and Olga Kurylenko now set to star in the next 007 flick, we tally the bombshells — and bombs — of Bond girls past,

10. MELINA HAVELOCK (Carole Bouquet)
For Your Eyes Only (1981)

As the quintessential Bond girl-with-a-vengeance, she never smiles or says much as she gets even for the murder of her parents with a little crossbow and a helluva lot of determination. Still, with legs like those (among the most iconic images in all of 007-dom), who needs a personality?

9. TIFFANY CASE (Jill St. John)
Diamonds Are Forever (1971)

She was devious and devilish, but that only made Bond — and, well, men everywhere — want her more. (Her terrifically corny-comely moniker didn't hurt, either.) But beyond all that, seeing this voluptuous lady running around a burning oil rig in a technicolor bikini was all it took to make Sean Connery's dreariest outing as 007 eminently watchable.

8. ROSA KLEBB (Lotte Lenya)
From Russia With Love (1963)

Unsexy, you say? Not a real Bond girl? We beg to differ. Dr. Freud would have had a field day with this Russian agent's manic obsession with, er, sticking her knife (fabulously concealed in a tight leather shoe) into our hero. The first dominatrix Bond girl (and, amazingly, not the last), she never doffed her duds, but she was as memorable as they get.

7. WAI LIN (Michelle Yeoh)
Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)

She wasn't the first woman of color to match wits with 007 (although, woefully, there haven't been many). But in 1997 she became the first one you could take seriously. Hong Kong action veteran Yeoh's skilled and savvy Chinese agent was the first babe that could be called superhot on a truly global scale

6. XENIA ONATOPP (Famke Janssen) GoldenEye (1995)

Those eyes! Those thighs! And with a name like that, guys knew they were going to get what they'd secretly longed for: a woman who really does use sex as a weapon — and can't get enough of it. Onatopp (stop snickering!) is said to be the first Bond girl seen having an orgasm, and she returned 007's leading ladies to smooth sailing after years in the doldrums.

5. ANYA AMASOVA (Barbara Bach)
The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)

Bach may have been an American girl, but in the mid-1970s no more exotic a woman appeared on screen than her KGB spook (codename, ahem, Agent XXX). Equally at home fighting in the Sahara as rolling in the sheets, she was the Bond-girl response to women's liberation, in every respect 007's first modern equal.

4. VESPER LYND (Eva Green)
Casino Royale (2006)

In 2006's re-energizing of the series, she fit the bill perfectly, embodying all the traits that characterize 007's most memorable minxes — the smarts of Pussy Galore, the drive of Melina Havelock, the sobriety of Anya Amasova, and the, ahem, jewels of Tiffany Case. An instant classic.

3. TRACY DI VICENZO (Diana Rigg)
On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)

As it happened, Rigg replaced fellow Bond girl Honor Blackman on TV's The Avengers, where her Emma Peel became renowned as the toughest of dames. Opposite one-time 007 George Lazenby, however, she gave the series' most heartfelt and least comic performance as a lovelorn Mafia heiress, the only woman you could imagine the superspy settling down with.

2. PUSSY GALORE (Honor Blackman)
Goldfinger (1964)

Really, her name alone would have been enough to rank her among Bond's best loves. But Brit Blackman rounded off Pussy's cardboard edges, introducing fans to the series' first real woman — a gorgeous dame who can fly a plane and kick butt (check out her rumble in the hay with 007) as well as coo and woo.

1. HONEY RYDER (Ursula Andress)
Dr. No (1962)

The first truly was the best. The Swiss native's voice may have been completely dubbed over in postproduction, but, well, the goods were all hers. Her sultry walk out of the waves set the tone for every sexy-strong Bond girl who followed and led a generation of men to dream about lying down ''underneath the mango tree.''

most hyped naija female artiste

is it just me or is it that i feel that there is a competition for the most hyped nigerian female artiste i feel its a keen competition between ashionye and muma gee

ashionye...i think she was a much better singer as a member of emete and the best music they ever churned out and if am not mistaken the only one i heard was dance foe me...all of a sudden, the group broke up...dont they all...and ashionye,s on her own...em i think she,s has multiple personalities...there,s a beyoncein there,a shakira also somewhere in there, then this micheal jackson accent...shes a bit pretty though heard she acts too...that have got to she...bet she,d be a better actress

then theres muma gee, wonder what the name means? she comes out with a single "kade"...thankfully we cant decipher most off what shes saying...you know like in star wars...those aliens talking we dont get what they,re saying but at least it gets interpreted...i think there should be a remix for "kade"...this time with the transliteralition of the words...here also i think there,s a multiple personality...there,s mariammakeba, mixed up with barbie, yeah there,s that blondish voice...then shes almost at every event...is she invitedto all of them...no wonder she doesnt have an album...she wouldnt have time for the studio...but i heard shes a guy magnet sha.em i couldnt get a pic of her alone so i had to use this

and guys this is just my opinion...members of their fan club, abeg softly softly when you see me oso what do u guys think?
