2012 and then he'll be four

hmmm...

13 days till the end of 2009 and i'm already thinking of 2012.you can't blame me really, i just
saw the movie 2012. I figure i need atleast a billion euros to ensure the existence of my surname... the ticket's for my mrs by the way...lol
(Now you've got to see the movie to "get" me)

Among other thing's i've started making plans for the coming years...think the japanese...who have 100 year goals..lol.i limited mine to 3 years...till 2012.

In the past few days i've read so many books,
Anthony Robbins - Awaken the Giant Within
Rhonda Byrne - The Secret
Seth Godin - 99 Cows
Gary Vaynerchuk - Crush It!
Ben Casnocha - My Start-Up Life

Really Outstanding books, that i would recommend for anyone in a rut.

I get into that mode almost every december... That's when you're suppossed to take stock shey... its usually like i haven't just done enough. So my quest for ideas begin, hence i soak in information from all media, then i distill it, then i drink it up, i get "high" and finally i start again.

Yes, i got the mobile dating service going again...it's starting off slowly, like a text or 2 a day, unlike at inception in 2007 when i got 20 to 30 texts per day.come on people.
That's the thing. when you start, be ready to go all the way, because a lull/pause in activity allows people to tune off and focus on the next best thing.

how many of you folks agree that when a man loves a woman there's no extent to which he couldnt go to make her comfortable? Like he could even do money rituals just to keep her. Most of the yoruba movies i watch nowadays seem to have that same theme. At the end of the day,the wife finds out, doesnt consent to it, the guy dies & then the lady continues to spend the money.why not kuku leave the money.

Omo, Ikira to all the mothers out there, una too gbasky... its really hard work taking care of children, especially 6 month olds... whew...yeah i'm on my leave and my sister came to drop her son with me... everything's all rosy till he starts crying...then i just get confused,
if i wasn't strong, i would cry too...lol.you don't just know why he's crying...you try to give him food, doesn't work.then you start patting him, with the hope that he'll sleep, no chance...
you let him cry and pretend he's not there, the neighbours come to check whats wrong
thankfully mumsie's around too...so she handles it.
Hmmm,he's crying again...i'll be back in a bit i hope..."sigh"

He/She who has ear's let them....do as they like

Hi, Everyone!!! Hope you had a marvelous week...Good...
I've been scared emotionally lately and based on what i know now, i'm going to make a couple of sweeping generalizations (wunmi can stop reading now lol).

A girl will never forget her first guy...
A guy won't too because she was the one that gave us our first BJ, and now you have to do it too.

Ever loved someone who didnt think the world of you... me too.

What's worse? having feelings for someone who's married or someone who's gay?

Guys don't really want to get married. We'd rather have you as a live in girlfriend.

Women are as insecure as men...and more confused...
my last babe thought i was Insensitive, while my new babe think's i'm too insecure,
ladies & gentlemen, i have not fu cking changed...lol

Girl's would really like to call our phones till our batteries ran out but...then we'd think they were psycho's shey

Okay, so if we really liked you...even it meant stealing a phone, we'd call you.

If he's married and you're dating him, he'll only leave his wife for you...IN YOUR DREAMS.

There's always going to be that girl that think's we're cute ...(fu ck us fo r free) even though we're dating you.

A woman will dump you if she's getting bored in the relationship...thats the reason why men cheat too ( well, one of the reasons).

If a lady has all your qualities, does all you do ...then goes 1% more...then consider yourself getting dumped soon ....

If you've been dating for atleast 2 years and he's never popped the question, then he's never gonna do it.

In fact, if you dont get married soon, you're gonna get dumped.

Most times, we make you think you dumped us,really...Ever heard?
-I don't want to stand in your way or hold you back.
-I don't deserve you.
-I'm so jealous of the guy who gets to marry you.
-hmmm...wo, you can add more" those are the one's have used.

If we call you out of the blues, it means we want to get fu ked...really....you really know that don't you?

If a friend (girl) treats you as a friend, she will not sleep with you,get your head out of the clouds, mate.If she did it once (out of sympathy),no she's not your babe, because she won't do it again.

There are really guys out there that won't doubledate.

If you cheat on your babe and you're upfront about it...yes *i'm not crazy*, there's actually a possibilty that you'll be forgiven.

DON'T PLAY WIFE, IF YOU'RE NOT.

If a guy wants to date you ehn, he'll ask you out.

We really do need to have sex!

You can check our phones all you want, Read all our messages but we'll only get caught if we want to.

Hmmm....all girls are up for some naughty fun.

Ever f ucked a girl while thinking of someonelse....well she does too.

We do CRY when we get DUMPED.

There are three kinds of ladies out there...
Those we're not just attracted/interested in (it's not your fault, it's just us)
Those we're attracted to,but we really just want sex
Those we wanna get married to

When you meet a guy, you instinctively know if there's hope or not.

If a guy makes you cry (well apart from tears of ecstacy), dump him now.

Yep I'm done now....*deep breaths*
Hope you enjoy the songs on my esnips...watch this space on my mobile/audio dating.

Relationship and Business

Been awhile everyone...hope you guys are all right

Business, business can often be comparable to a relationship.A few friends know i started my cosmetics business about 6 months ago, the same time i got the green light for a relationship with the mrs.

Both have gone through one major stage now and moving towards an essential stage. They have both passed what i call the "castle in the air" stage. For want of not been too dramatic yeah. When i started both ventures/adventures, i couldnt think of any other thing. it was either the business or mrs boss.

I had grandiose plans of world domination, my cosmetics business was the best thing since sliced bread. Mrs boss was just perfect and i had to marry her yesterday. She couldnt put a foot wrong. Then i would have smelt her armpits all she just needed to do was ask.Not that i wouldnt do it now...hmmm...anyway sha.hope youguys get the gist.

We sent messages everyday, i called her like crazy, couldnt wait to be with her.she always wanted to hang around me.she was hit by the "kehinde" bug.Everyone wanted to meet me to know what the "f$%k" it was all about.Trust i didnt disappoint. My Friends just wouldnt stop teasing me, i was tied to mrs boss strings. My relationship with the bois suffered, we couldnt go to trhe club together no more,we couldnt stare at chicks together no more...miss them days...lol....but it really didnt matter cause, it was all for mrs boss.

Business couldnt be better either, you know, when you start a new venture, well me,my family & friends are soo supportive, everyone fighting over themselves to be the first to buy or use the service. they recommend you to everyone. you get big contracts and money keeps rolling in.you're leaving the life.you are attracted to praise & reject criticism which could be good advice. You & your business are indestructible.

Then,Kryptonite.

I noticed that overtime, the initial gragra started to wear off, the calls reduced, the messages started trickling,i didnt get "high" on her bodily fumes anymore. She cried (i hate tears), she vomits when sick (yuck). she loves high heels but still complains about her feet at every outing, I couldnt touch her everytime,
We couldnt have sex (shes religious)...i mean too religious. She "leaked"....I realised i raised my voice when she irritates me,i am lackadisical about my dressing,i didnt open the door for her everytime, i made fun of her alot,i was getting to possesive & jealous, and i didnt take her to the movies anymore.anyways you get the point.

I realised she was human.

Then i have to try and understand this human, who i wanted to prolly marry.could i cope with her wants and whims, her tears and cramps.I had to be realistic about us now.

Business slowed down,I had practically sold to everyone i knew...selling to those who didnt need it sef.Now i knew there were other brands in the market and its a dog eat dog world out there.I had to hustle more to get the least amount of sales.Selling makeup alone, couldntpossibly take me to uhuru could it.

I think the best thing about the "been realistic" stage are the questions and been retrospective.you know, you're not bullshitting yourself anymore.Noone needs to talk to you because inside of you.you knowthe truth.you know that for the relationship to work, you need communication, talking about your goals and aligning it together for your future and acting. you know that to make more sales you have to be really
creative and hustle more.

I really dont know whats after this stage, and i sincerely hope its bliss. All i know is that its the "been realistic" stage, that makes or mars a relationship or a business.I think i'm dealing with both amazing well...well,better than i expected.

Wednesday 6th of August 2008 (Misconceptions)

Tell me if you agree with any of these statements about men:

-Men like a challenge. They like the chase. If you're too "easy" or approachable, they'll get bored or lose interest.

-Men are dominant in relationships and women therefore are unable to express
themselves.

-Men cheat and are incapable of being monogamous.

-Men would secretly love to date and sleep with different women the rest of their life rather than just have to stay with one serious committed relationship.

-Men just want to have fun and "freedom" and no responsibility.

Did you find yourself nodding at any of these?

Unfortunately you’re wrong….

TRUTH #1: Men Don't Need To Chase

It's been said many times by many people that men need to be made to chase a woman in order to want her and commit wholeheartedly.

Not true.

If you are not running, why do I need to chase you?

Rather than wanting to "chase" a woman, men are humans first.

I want and need to feel a deep, emotional level of attraction for a woman if i want you in my life.

"Physical Attraction" i can feel for any chick who walks by is not enough, and will never be enough to make me want something more than a casual fling.
and i get easily "bored" and lazy about a relationship or any kind of commitment if I’m not feeling this Emotional Attraction for you.

Emotional attraction goes way beyond what a babe looks like, what she says or how successful she is.

If i sense that a woman knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it, and that
she has certain "standards" of what she will or won't put up with from a man, then i will feel incredibly drawn to her.

It has nothing to do with playing GAMES or pretending to be "hard to get."
If you continue to do that you miss all the good guys….like me…lol

If you think that men just want to "chase" a woman and that acting or being "unavailable" is a turn-on for him, then I have to tell you right now, you're not going to get far with a man.

Cause if the guy’s like me, I spend my money, time and resources “chasing” you, when I get you what do you think will happen? I’ll have just have sex with you and most definitely break your heart…

TRUTH #2: Men Feel Emotions Just Like Women

Believe it not, men are pretty sensitive….yes I cry too…lol

It's just how we handle our feelings that makes us hard to connect with about it, and
hard to understand -

Men have a hard time dealing with strong emotions from women. Why do you think we try to leave the room during arguments…lol

in a recent groundbreaking study of how couples interact when in conflict, it was discovered that men often LOOK detached or withdrawn because we feel intensely STRESSED by the argument.

It's not that we're more "in control."

On the contrary - we feel LESS in control.

So we withdraw in order to try and cope.

TRUTH #3: Men Want Relationships

Not all men love the single life of Parties, Girls , Sex…
Men want to be in a relationship, and they have a strong desire to feel recognized as a great partner by their women.

Have you ever accused a man of being "not ready" for a relationship?

Here's a mind-blowing statistic: WOMEN (not men) break off relationships or file for divorce 70% of the time.

If that surprises you, you may also be surprised to know that a man enjoys being in
committed, loving relationships as much as a woman does.

AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T FEEL HARD TO HIM.

If you give a man the impression that he can't please you no matter WHAT he does, or that everything he does is pointless because he can'tdo ANYTHING right, then guess what?

He's going to wonder if he's the right partnerfor you, and he's going to begin to doubt whether or not he should even continue the relationship.

Maybe you're saying, "but I don't do that!"

It's true. You may not even be aware that you're doing this.

But there are certain words and phrases thatcommunicate this to a man whether you're aware of it or not.

Instead, when you show a man that you trust him to be a good partner to you, you will actually inspire him and trigger his devotion and attraction for you.

Thursday 310708 Conversations with a babe (Naija Babe)

My fourth Conversations with a babe features Naijababe...
Very Insightful...
Make una sit down with pen and paper...yes u've got to keep notes...

For Conversation 1:
Conversations with a Babe

For Conversation 2:
conversations with a babe 2 (zephi)

For Conversations Three:
Conversations With A Babe 3 (OK)

18andabove: so naija babe....why use that name?
NB: No Idea....I just chose it randomly!

18andabove: why do you blog?
NB: I read a few blogs, and seeing as I hardly talk to people about stuff, I thought It'd be a good option for me. Here people only judge you by what they know unlike out there where people's judgements about you are infiltrated with things they see and hear about you, that they choose to misconstrue and thus make wrong judgements about you.

18andabove: what motivates you to want to get that message out?
NB: Hmmm...no idea....I guess its something I just do

18andabove: Okay...i personally think "LOVE" is overrated, what do you think abt that...
NB: Naa, I dont think Love is overrated, I just think its a matter of good things coming to those who wait.

18andabove: I have a view that most of the women in blogville are like radio station presenters...good voices but not really fine...well with exceptions...wld u be one?
NB: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder..some voices take your breath away but then the faces bring you back, but some, once you are taken away..the looks dont matter. Am I an exception? I believe so, but I'll leave that to the person judging.

18andabove: What are your views about sex before marriage?
NB: I believe in no sex before marriage, but then again, circumstances might change...if the marriage is looking like a sure deal, then why not?

18andabove: and whats the worst pickup line you heard in a while?....lol
NB: Arrogant as it may sound, I havent had pick up lines used on me....or they were just too sublte for me to notice.

18andabove: you never noticed them use pickup lines, they must be really suave...
NB: would want to keep your maiden name even after getting married?
Yes I'd love to kep my maiden name....lol I'll then become the double barreled 'Mrs'

18andabove: ever used a dating service b4?
NB: Nope, never used a dating site

18andabove: so is it safe to say...u date guys according to your mood?
NB: No it is not safe to say that o.

18andabove: then are u single?
NB: Yes I am..

18andabove: if yes, why?
NB: Because there isnt any one out there. Everyone seems to have this pre requisites thing, honestly I dont have one. I guess its just a matter of I see something in someone that even though all others may have it, it is complemented with smething else that thus makes him unique. If I had a list of criteria...no one would be suitable for me.

18andabove: wat do u think i shd do?
18andabove: theres this chick really tripping for me but doent no ow to tell me...
NB: How can you tell that she is till tripping for you?

18andabove: and she has a 8yr old son
NB: Right?

18andabove: u see we used to date....b4 she became pregnant years ago...
NB: So did she get pregnant for someone else whilst you guys were dating?

18andabove: Yeah and I’m sure he isn’t mine cause I didn’t do it then…lol …I was too naïve.Anyways, how do i tell her or show her that am not interested
NB: Can I ask why you’re not interested? Is it that you’ve moved on for other reasons or because she has a child.

18andabove:wld u date someone that has a 8 yr old son?
NB: Well it depends. I cant say its easy, but if its worth my while, then why not. However selfish of me, I think I can only go into it if the child’s mother isn’t in the picture anymore. If she is, even if she is married to another person, I still think too many people in the circle causes too many issues.

18andabove: ow do I tell a gal off?
NB: Lol…this is a funny one. Depends on if she’s a biatch…If she is…put her in her place…no story.

18andabove: one of u called me a small boy yesterday when i said i wanted to ask her out
NB: Erm ask who out?

18andabove: One Chick like that… so how do u change that impression when thats already ow she thinks?
NB: When someone thinks you are a small boy? Well again, it depends on where she sees you as a small boy. Some girls think its cos you still hop the train and not have a ride that makes you a small boy. Some others think its on maturity level. If it’s the former, please, jabo the babe sharpish, and if it’s the latter, then you might wanna work on that.

18andabove: ok...ve u called someone a small boy b4? or looked at them that way?
NB: Yeah, quite a lot. Usually its to do with their way of thinking…maturity on their end must have been veryyy low.

18andabove: BUT ITS REALLY NOT EASY FOR US WORKING CLASS TO MEET SOMEONE ABI?
NB: Who says?

18andabove: APART FROM WEDDINGS WHERE IS IT SURE BANKER THAT U CAN GET A SINGLE BABE.
NB: I guess other gatherings. BBQ’s, church, mosque, the gym…you never know!

18andabove: so apart from watching tv, what does a girl...sorry lady like u do, when u come back from work.
NB: I read lightly, eat and SLEEP!

18andabove: i thought u'd say "start getting ready for a date"
NB: Lol…how I wish.

18andabove: so lets say u were going for one, what preparations wld u make?
NB: Shower, get dressed and go. What else?

18andabove: ok...so wld u want to go where he likes, or where u like?
NB: I hardly go out, so I would be crap at choosing a place, so I’d leave it to him.

18andabove: where wld ur own ideal location be?
NB: No idea! If its dinner, then obviously a nice restaurant.

18andabove: ok..so he's car,a cab,a bus or u guys trek...lol
NB: Honestly, I guess the ‘ideal’ girl’s date is he either has a car or you guys take a cab. I won’t do bus, sorry. But I would love to walk…I think its nice.

18andabove: emm...okay so in what direction wld u want the conversation to go...when u guys are talking.
NB: Anywhere, we start with the obvious, work, life, maybe relationships…anything goes

18andabove: SO WHAT WLD BE A CONVERSATION KILLER
NB: I think talking about your ex, especially if you guys don’t know each other that well.

18andabove: SO WLD A KISS ON THE 1ST NIGHT BE IN ORDER?
NB: Once again, depends on how long you’ve known each other. If you’ve been talking for quite a while and the date was just something to make it official then, why not, otherwise, I don’t think its in order.

18andabove: OKAY SO IF HE MADE AN ATTEMPT,HE'D PROBABLY GET A SLAP...LOL
NB: Ah ah, unless you never want to see him again. If you do, then you turn him down nicely.

18andabove: OK...BUT YOU'LL BE EXPECTING HIS CALL AFTER THE DATE ABI?
NB: Yeah! Big time.

18andabove: SO WHEN IS THE CALLING TO EARLY OR TOO LATE...
NB: Too early would be when he gets back into his car, and too late would probably be if I’m getting ready for work the next morning.

18andabove: WLD U EVER CALL A GUY U LIKE AS IN AFTER THE DATE?
NB: Yeah.

18andabove: I THOUGHT IF HE WAS INTERESTED IN A FOLLOW UP DATE HE'D CALL?
NB: Well you can clarify that when you call abi? Whats the point of waiting to find out.

18andabove: come to think of it...what do u look out for when a guy approaches u...
NB: Lol…you don’t prememditate those kind of things, do you?

18andabove: so if its a short person like me...u'll just give me ur best snubish look...lol
NB: Hehe…no we’d be friends in a way that I’d hint I don’t want anything more…LOL.. thats jokes though. but how short are you?

18andabove: I’m 5 7 ok, and don’t go rubbing it in…lol ...wld u go out on a date with anyone that asks u?
NB: Ermm no.

18andabove: why?
NB: If I don’t feel like it or if I know there is no point wasting my time.

18andabove: the question wld be..u're looking at this tall, dark and handsome guy...speaking good english....comfortable...
18andabove: he asks u for a date & u say no....somethings definately wrong...lol
NB: Yes, talk dark, handsome guy can be STUPID too.

18andabove: lol...so like ow many guys ask u out everyday...dont exagerate o...
NB: Everyday? Approximately zero.

18andabove: okay lets say a week...
NB: Same as above.

18andabove: That’s serious o…lol
18andabove: did u know that...the average single person goes on 22 dates, has 3 one-night-stands and three serious relationships before "settling down with The One."
NB: Lol, none of those have applied to me yet….when it does, I’ll let you know.

18andabove: wld u ask someone to marry u...
NB: Hmmm that’s a bit tricky o! I think it’s the other way round, and I think I’d leave it that way.

18andabove: that wld be too much abi...lol
18andabove: the height of desperation.
NB: Ermmm yeah…something like that.

18andabove: whats the significance of a kiss to u...?
NB: Ermmm, no clue!

18andabove: which is more intimate...the kiss or the other thing...lol
NB: See above…lol
I’m being serious o!

18andabove: NB…hey…you’re scaring me…lol ,well thats u or most women...
NB: I think that’s just me

18andabove: wld u say thats it for most women too...
NB: nope

18andabove: so what 1st comes to ur mind when a guy invites u to his place
NB: Hehe…I’ve been warned…I’d rather invite him to mine. Even if in both cases, we’d still be alone. Theres still some sort of security and regard for me, when we’re at mine.

18andabove: Does the age factor play a role in your relationship?
NB: Well, it bothers me, I wont lie.

18andabove: How do you know your guy loves you?
NB: He is willing to apologise when he’s wrong and he tells me when he’s upset about something, rather than keep a grudge. Cos if he keeps a grudge, that means he’s not talking to me, and if he’s not talking to me, then he doesn’t miss me…need I say more?

18andabove: Could you attend you Ex-boyfriend wedding?
NB: Because why?

18andabove: Is it possible to love two guys?
NB: Hmmm, I don’t think so

18andabove: Wld you date a guy shorter than you?
NB: Depends on how short. One inch, not bad…when its reaching 5 or 6, then erm..

18andabove: What about one with a different religion?
NB: Not really

18andabove: What about one in a different tribe?
NB: Nope. I can deal with hausa…def not ibo tho

18andabove: NB, that’s abt it….thanks so much for your time…and we’ll definitely be doing this again…you said you were single right….lol….

18andabove: you know who to call when you’re lonely and in need of some hmmm TLC…lol..

tHURSDAY 3-7-8 (10 Ways 2 Treat A Lady

Just like you are here reading my blog, I too take the time out to scan the blog scene. Some I tend to frequent more than others. Like I am over @ Blogxilla and I see an article too good not to post. Enough of me talking, read on!!

10. Oral sex is your get out of jail free card. Nice shoes & jewelry also work.

Going Down can change her mood… But make sure you give her the royal treatment I will be writing another how to eat p*ssy blog soon

9. If you f*cked things up and she seems cool with it. She’s not. (See directly above.)

get back to eating the coochie!!! Nuff Said. but be careful she might start faking being mad if your good enough at it… and that might not be a bad thing

8. She loves it when you tell her what on your mind, even if you don’t understand what you’re thinking.

Tell her what’s on your mind, we men like to feel like we can do it all ourselves but females are programmed to be supporters, listeners, etc let her know your master plan she may be able to help you get there quicker.

7. Surprises & gifts for Her = more loving.

Instead of giving your Extra dollars to TA-TA-LALISCOUS at Strokers stop by the mall and pick out something nice for your shorty. You might want to consult either her female Friends or your Female Friends before doing this. There are a lot of good sites out there that are not paying me to give them free promotion

6. You’re not her daddy so don’t tell her what to do.

Ask her if she can, or if she would mind instead of demanding she do something. Make her feel like it’s a democracy… wait our gov’t is a democracy right? Well scratch that!!! But give her an option.

5. If she is not feeling needed, she will start looking for love else where.

Tell her you love her, better yet prove it to her. You need to make sure she knows how you feel, and sometimes saying it isn’t enough walk up on her one day while she is doing something, washing dishes, cleaning the room, walking in the door, and just hug then drop to your knees.

4. Discussion of ex-gf’s and ex-bf’s should be avoided at all times.

Don’t talk about your past, and don’t ask her about hers. No one wants to be constantly reminded or feel like they have to be better than someone.

3. She likes loves porn.

Not trashy porn but good porn… SO BIG BUTT BROOKLYN B!TCHES WIT BOOGERS GETTING BACKSHOTS may be out the question. Buy her a toy, Butterflies, ladybugs, and Dolphins will do the trick.

2. She owns a MARY J Blige CD, and is not afraid to use it.

You know you did something Questionable, and you hear I’m not going CRY. [Or Rihanna's Take A Bow] Go for a walk… or see number 10

1. She loves it when you hug her from behind and whisper in her ear.

Hold a whole conversation in this position. The heat could hinder this so make sure the air is on.

monday 16-06-08 (finally)

yeah i 've been around...had a lot of things to talk about but was just to lazy to blog...
i still want to continue with this diary though and i'll find time to fill in the days i missed...
i just didnt want to blog,i have a very short attention span and if i've been blogging for this long, i probably will be able to get to the end of the year Insha Allah...yes my attention span is 6 months at the most and if i get past that it'll be 3 years...its helped me in business, relationship and life as a whole...i'm just looking for the next thing...

i've been a couple of delimma's in the last few days...starting from that trip to owu falls,

i didnt know that keeping a daily diary was this difficult at least i tried sha, my paper diaries are just filled with tips, quotes, my jottings from classes and the books i read...yes i dont write stuff in my paper diary...i just use it to keep notes...yeah yeah i'm just rambling abi...i'm letting my thoughts out for the 1st time in a while...

i have role models, mr Richard branson and Mr donald trump, wonderful individuals, successes in business, billionaires and...have divorced atleast once...shey u understand where i'm coming from...anyways i'm like if i wasnt to be like this individuals, does that mean i'm going to marry more than one wife?and if yes,who 1st?

anyways...i get to ilorin and call sexy, i got all the info about owu falls from her...she's so surprised that i'm in ilorin,i'm surprised too...soemthing in me's telling me that i took this trip just because of her and not cause of owu falls...well thats a part of it...i do this kind of crazy things for the women in my life...lol...

and thats the point,i'm i living the life i want or living this life because of the way a woman is dictating it,i'm i basing my decisions based on wanting to be a success in my relationship 1st or a success in life...because ultimately if its about the woman...i'm going to lose...

sha, i finally get to meet sexy, a lot bigger than her picture, and we end up getting close to having sex...i couldnt because i'm thinking, distance is going to be a major factor in this relationship and she isnt what i want, honestly, i too have a list for my ideal woman and 1st and foremost i want a woman that i can share stuff with, then she must also be near...near enough for us to go on a date in an hour...not one that lives 5 or 6 hours away...i also didnt want to take her for granted cause she loved me...she did, and okay she was a virgin...i couldnt bring myself to have sex with her when i knew i wouldnt want to have a relationship with her...and no its not about std's or aids, its just that this stuff that people do lackadisically, i see as a convenant...yeah think me weird but u just dont have sex with any and everyone...period...

anyways, i get back to Lagos, after risking my life on the Ibadan to Ilorin one lane road...and i call her...my dear, we just have to break up...this couldnt possibly work...she sees reasons with me and that was it...she's now in the past although i miss her so much now...miss her big nose, small breasts, musk perfume...most of all i miss her smile and squeaky voice...i also miss her long natural hair...yes o no bi attachement...anyways as i said she's in the past and unlike others i dont make friends withe exes...when its done its done...i'll only hear from u when u call...
dont go out of ur way to call people that'll just endure talking to u and u bring memories...

thats that...i let that out...

thsi got me thinking about the other women in my life...those i could possibly marry...thing is i dont really think this women care about me...well apart from one...lets call her d, shey i told u that my brother's birthday was saturday in ibadan and yes he's having his 5th wedding annervarsary...oppurtunity to see the family again, to here the latest gist and to present D to the family...yes Other memebers have to meet her 1st before my mum...anyways, D shows up late...in a suit for this kind of party?...and i have to practically force her to meet the folks...and the judgement i got wasnt good...in short, i couldnt present her to mum unless, i feel in love with her,she uses jazz on me or , i really damn what they all say...

i ask myself why i'm i doing this to myself, why do i want to go out with someone who i might not marry?...why do i think marriage will solve a major challenge which i have which is practically becoming a success in business...

and dont go saying, shebi u run a mobile dating service, u could get another one.....
know my dear it doesnt work that way...there always has to be a connection...even if i meet 20 babes in a day,i'll only hope and pray she's the right one...

i'm already tired again although i have lots of other stuff to add maybe later...

let me just read this information about getting a visa to the us, i want to go on a short visit to see a friend...

thats another thing i want to reduce, i want to stop this my information overload...i read everything,books,magazines,blogs... listen to different kind of music, jazz, hip hop, soul,i'm really into pasuma now even though my colleagues at the office think i'm too tush to listen to fuji; watch all the programs on tv...aargh...maybe i shd take a break from all this stuff sef i'll just miss watching salvadore in the second chance...the uefa championship matches...hip tv...prime time jamz...well i have to stop one way or the other sha...

shey i've written abou tmy business yet, well okay...i will be removing a few stuff from my blog although earlier in the week i wanted to close it down...hopefully what'll be left will be original content...and i'm procastinating a lot when it comes to my business...i'm always trying to move it to the next level...always...always...well one day with the help and patronage of u guys it'll be possible...

i've been thinking abt all what is happening in my life right now...did i tell u that the event on saturday was at my brother's house...he's almost completed it...and then i learnt that my friend had moved to his own flat and now has a car...i'm happy for them, but the question that came to my mind was Olohun, when will it be my turn?...he answered in various ways before the end of the weekend...he's like Omo mi,In the marathon called life, you're not racing against opponents, you're in this race against yourself...
Later,He's like Patience,Patience...

and finally he's like what do u really want in life...
what steps are u taking to get what you want...
what wld u give up to get what you want...
thats the koko o...

i know what i wld give up sha, that thing that we guys usually do to or without ourselves when we are aroused...its a bad thing, often develops into a habit and ruins stuff...i didnt use any word o...
i wld also be willing to give up having sex till a later date...
i wld give up taking in all this information...
i wld be willing to give up chocolate..."sob"
i'd even be willing to give up asking the ladies (i probably wouldnt marry) on a date...

why is it that we often plan a lot when we dont have money,,,,then when the money comes we just discard them and go do wat we like with the money...i bet it takes self discipline abi, well i have to take time out to really develop that...

yeah, i havent updated the singles corner for a while and i will be for the end of the day...i have lots of exciting people i'd like u guys to meet...and i'll be adding a small questionaire on how to improve on the service on the side of my blog and will also be sending it to your mobile numbers...your answers and observations will be appreciated...i'm also working on a 18andabove t-shirt, working on other trips to tourist attractions...also putting in place a system by which you could advertise your products or services on 18andabove and its affiliates...

didnt know it costs this much to want to go to the us o...

work sef hasnt been really lively for me...i'm tired of still working here...its 3 years already and u wldnt beleive that i said i wasnt going to use more than months...the whole work i do at work isnt up to 3 hours out of 8 and i spend the rest of the day chatting with pple i'm not feeling at all or browsing stuff that i wouldnt probably remember tomorrow...damn

thursday 290508 (Listen)

...it's just that very few people ever
learn to rely on it and properly listen to it.

What is this???

It's your intuition or "gut feeling" about something. Using your
"visceral thinking".

Everyone has an intuition... but some people's intuition and knack
for "visceral thinking" is far more developed because they don't
allow other urges or impulses to get in the way.

When you're dating, meeting people, or in a relationship, your
intuition is highly important.

Last night, on Sunday evening, a good male friend of mine stopped
by for a glass of wine. This man is personally successful, though
not necessarily financially successful-- but he is a character,
fun, and extremely self-aware and emotionally developed.

He was telling me about a woman he'd met and been on a couple of
dates with. They had gone out the night before, on Saturday. He
described her as being highly attractive, tall, thin, bubbly,
enthusiastic, with a loud, obnoxious laugh. He said that she owns a
small clothing boutique for women & children. But he said that from
the very first time he met her that something "just wasn't right".

Here is what he said: "I just couldn't help but think her need to
always present herself and be over the top, and her loud obnoxious
laugh is covering up for something. I just kept thinking that
something wasn't right. I had an awkward feeling around her."

Sure enough, when they went out on Saturday, she admitted several
things to him... She's been married twice, though she originally told
him she'd never been married. She cheated on her first husband--
and the man she cheated on him with she ended up marrying and that
was her second husband. She has a child with the first husband--
she originally told my friend that she didn't have any children.
Her husband has full custody of the child. She is running a decent
business, but her life is in shambles... it's apparent she drinks too
much, spends above her means, and parties too often and hasn't
gotten her life together.

She admitted these things to my friend when she had far too much to
drink and was crying and spilling her guts about how "awful her
life is".

None of these things came as that great of a shock to my friend.
Why? Because he already knew something wasn't right. Because he
knew something wasn't right, he had NOT been intimate with her, he
hadn't gotten his hopes up, and he already knew that she wasn't the
one for him.

He was going out with her to have fun, enjoy life, and have a few
laughs. He wasn't expecting anything or wanting anything... And this
revelation didn't come as any surprise.

He made sure she got home safely, told her goodbye, and knew he
wouldn't ever go out with her again.

He wasn't discouraged, because he knows that there are great women
out there and he will find one.

He wasn't disappointed because he already knew "something wasn't
right" and because of that he hadn't gotten his hopes up or thought
something might work out between them.

He hadn't been intimate with her or had done anything that he (or
she) would regret.

He could walk away from her calmly, rationally, optimistically, and
in a positive frame of mind because he listened to his intuition
from the get-go and he didn't let his desires, sexual impulses or
wishes, or hopes get in the way. He also is confident enough to
know that he can attract a great woman, that there are wonderful
women on this planet, and that he will find his special someone.

When you listen to your "gut feeling" and you have the confidence
and security to walk away from someone who "just isn't right"...
dating and relationships become a lot easier.

Have You Ever Gotten Your Heart Broken?

today, I want to talk aboutthat four-letter-word that strikes fearinto the hearts of men.
L-O-V-E.
Love is one of the most powerful emotions on the planet. We all strive to experience love during our lifetime, and we really want to find a great woman who will make us feel incredible.
The desire to experience love can be so overwhelming, that often times men RUSH into it, only to be hurt later on.
A study done in the 1980s revealed that 90% of all relationships are ended by women. This means that 90% of men who've been in relationships have, at one time or another, had their hearts broken.
And when this happens, it can be a painful, gut-wrenching process. Anyone who's ever been dumped can tell you this.
Because of that, many men try and safeguard themselves by shutting down emotionally. They can still feel attraction and lust for women, but their hearts are always guarded to try and keep themselves from experiencing that hurt of being dumped again.
Women love to complain that men are never "in touch" with their feelings, and that they tend to be "emotionally distant" in relationships. But when a guy is trying to keep from getting hurt, it's pretty hard to open themselves up to their partner.
So this presents us with a problem.
Falling in love too quickly opens yourself up to the possibility of being hurt. But never allowing yourself to experience love for your
partner can sabotage your relationships.
So what's a guy to do?
The answer to this is to keep your guard up early on, and then after the relationship is established, allow yourself to open up.
If you are so scared of being hurt, that you never allow yourself to experience the joy of being in love with a great woman, you are doing
yourself a great disservice.
Guy's need to be able to allow themselves to open up to their partners.
The problem is that too many guys do this TOO EARLY.
They meet a girl they like, they begin to imagine being with her, get themselves all worked up about actually believing they are "in love" - even before they've gone on the first date!
Then, the girl gets weirded out because she is no where near as familiar with the idea of being "in love" with the guy, as he is with her, and she REJECTS him.
And then the guy gets hurt, and becomes miserable.
To avoid this situation, you have to learn the process of creating trust and comfort around women BEFORE you allow yourself to fall in
love with them.
You can like a girl as much as you want, but you must keep reminding yourself not to get too attached until she's proven she feels the
same way about you.
Keeping a girl at arm's distance early on helps you to screen her. It helps you see if she's the type of person YOU really want to be
with.
It helps to guard your emotions so you don't get hurt. But more than that, it gives you the time needed to start forming genuine bonds and emotional connections with the girl.
Once those emotional connections begin to form and strengthen, the girl will begin to open up to you. At this point, you can allow
yourself to open up to her as well, and give yourself permission to fall in love if the girl is the one for you.
Is there a risk you might still get hurt and rejected? Sure. That risk will ALWAYS be there.
But the risk is greatly LESSENED when you ease into the situation, and actually DO THE WORK to form a strong relationship, as opposed to
rushing in already pronouncing your undying love for the woman.
Remember - the key isn't that you SHOULDN'T fall in love. It's that you shouldn't fall in love too soon!

How to Score Some Big Points With Your Wife!

Jack wakes up with a huge hangover after attending his company's Christmas Party. Jack is not normally a drinker, but the drinks didn't taste like alcohol at all.
He didn't even remember how he got home from the party. As bad as he was feeling, he wondered if he didsomething wrong.
Jack had to force himself to open his eyes and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins next to a glass of water on the side table. And, next to them, a single red rose!
Jack sits up and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. He looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotlessly clean. So is the rest of the house.
He takes the aspirins, cringes when he sees a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror.
Then he notices a note hanging on the corner of the mirror written in red with little hearts on it and a kiss mark from his wife in lipstick: "Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to get groceries to make you your favorite dinner tonight. I love you, darling! Love, Jillian"
He stumbles to the kitchen and sure enough, there is hot breakfast, steaming hot coffee and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table, eating. Jack asks, "Son... What happened last night?"
"Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and out of your mind. You fell over the coffee table and broke it, and then you puked in the hallway, and got that black eye when you ran into the door.
Confused, he asked his son, "So, why is everything in such perfect order and so clean? I have a rose, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me??"
His son replies, "Oh THAT! Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off, you screamed, "Leave me alone, I'm married!!"
Broken Coffee Table: $239.99. Hot Breakfast: $4.20. Two Aspirins: $.38. Saying the right thing, at the right time. . . PRICELESS!!!
